Praetura has been crowned the industry’s Best Up and Coming EIS Manager following this year’s Growth Investor Awards in Mayfair, London, where we were also presented with the award for Most Impactful Regional Investment.
The latter award recognises our initial and follow-on investments in Leeds-based gaming studio XR Games, whose team and founder CEO Bobby Thandi have had an outstanding impact on West Yorkshire and beyond.
On one of the biggest nights in our industry, our impressive Marketing Team was also named official runner-up in the Team of the Year category, with a runner-up prize also awarded to us for Emerging BR Investment Manager (Unlisted).
The news follows a phenomenal 12 months for Praetura, which has seen us grow our EIS portfolio to over 38 companies, launch our VCT offering, and expand our business development team, following the recent hiring of James Rochfort, Caroline Flagg and Peter Marsland from Octopus Investments.
The awards were presented by TV personality Claudia Winkleman and currently have pride of place in our Manchester office on Quay Street.
