Festivals are usually associated with fields in the countryside, but our inaugural Praetura Portfolio Festival had a twist!
Atop one of Manchester’s tallest skyscrapers, we treated founders from across our portfolio to a day of talks and networking before breaking out into an evening of drinks and awards.
The event was hosted at the exclusive SkyLounge in the City Tower, with panoramic views of Greater Manchester, and saw special appearances from Alvarez & Marsal, NorthEdge Capital, Mountside Ventures, PitchBook, CapDesk and the author Simon Wardley.
There were also workshops from Mark Horncastle and Andy Barrow as well as a panel hosted by our Partner Colin Greene and consisting of Praetura portfolio founders Jay Shen (Transreport), Gemma McCall (Culture Shift) and Bobby Thandi (XR Games).
Finishing off, our Chairman Steve Caunce gave a brilliant keynote speech on leadership, topping off a day dedicated to More Than Money.
