We are thrilled to announce that we have won the award for the Best New Entrant at Investment Week’s Tax Efficiency Awards 19/20. We have achieved a great deal since unveiling Praetura Ventures last year, and it’s wonderful to see recognition of the team’s hard work.
This win follows months of significant growth for Praetura Ventures. As experts in EIS investments since 2011, we launched our first fund in May this year. The Praetura 2019 EIS Fund set a new record for the largest ever maiden EIS fund. Due to the scale of demand we had from investors, we have since launched our second fund of the year, the Praetura EIS 2020 Fund.
Our team has grown to 23 in the last 18 months, with new additions to our business development, portfolio and investment teams. To support our growing numbers, in June we moved into a bespoke new office in Bauhaus, in Manchester’s Spinningfields. Our new office has since been recognised by Prolific North as one of their top 10 Inspired Spaces in the North.
At Praetura Ventures, we seek to back exceptional management teams in exciting markets with more than money. Using our experience, network and resources, we help businesses to scale and succeed. We invest predominantly in the North of England and our growing portfolio includes some of the regions’ most disruptive businesses, including Peak and Sorted.
