Manchester Central was the venue for this year’s long-awaited Digital City Festival, where our MD David Foreman took to the stage to deliver a talk on many of the unspoken truths that exist within our industry. From what VCs are really looking for in the businesses they back to founders having more power than they know, David’s talk received fantastic feedback in front of a packed crowd. This year’s festival also saw two of our portfolio companies take home awards, with PixelMax receive the accolade for Best Start-Up and XR named Best Small Digital Company.

Bobby Thandi, the founder and CEO of XR Games, has been nominated for the Transformational Leader award at the 2022 Northern Leadership Awards alongside Praetura Group’s co-founder Peadar O’Reilly. In addition to this nomination, Bobby is also up for the Top 50 City Region Leader award, representing Leeds. The nominations follow a fantastic start to the year for XR, whose game Zombieland: Headshot Fever continues to go from strength to strength.
Enthuse Named Official Online Fundraising Partner For The Great Run Company
Enthuse is teaming up with another events giant in The Great Run Company, which is responsible for the Great North Run and a host of other national events. The news also follows Enthuse being named the official online fundraising partner for London Marathon Events, which runs the London Marathon.
